By cycles are a dream of many young hearts and minds. To own one would be a long term desire. Children can only approach their parents to buy one at that age, so it is the parents responsibility to fulfill their desire, by buying them a by cycle to pedal through the lanes.


Children watch the children in their neighborhood zoom through the lanes on their cycles, which even they would want to be a part of. They approach their parents to buy them a normal cycle to just pedal along with their friends. The feeling of being independent rises in a child when taught during their younger ages itself. By owning a cycle the feeling is bound to develop within a child. Cycling provides the confidence to explore the surrounding without the help of their parents. Many children take up the sport seriously, and pursue it further as profession. When the profession is accepted from the heart due to the liking towards it, it transforms into passion.


Cycling as a sport can be further classified into many categories. Racing is one of the selected categories, by most of the individuals. As a child, the individual takes up cycling as a recreational sport but he/she would never realize when the sport would have grown more importance within them to take it up seriously in terms of racing. People do road racing as well as mountain racing. In road racing the racing cycles are a little different than the mountain racing cycles, because the pressure applied is totally different in both. Racer's need to have a bike that is meant just for racing, as no normal bikes can be used to race on. The most important aspect of racing bikes is the wheels and the tires. The rim of the wheel can be shaped for greater aerodynamic efficiency, so that the racer can swiftly race through the lanes. For aerodynamics and rotating weight, it is however better to reduce the number of spokes in the wheel, which is the advice mostly given to the individuals taking up the sport seriously and making a career out of it. Professionals creating racing by cycles for the people for whom the sport matters the most, they keep certain aspects in mind while doing so, like the, tires are lightweight, narrow, have thin and smooth tread, basically to reduce both air resistance and rolling resistance on the road.


Racing bikes needs to be developed in such a way that it provides comfort to the user, which is very important, as while racing comfort matters the most to produce better results. Until recently, most racing bikes used tubular tires with no beads, for smooth movement because these tires provide an advantage in weight which can vary from racer to racer, rolling resistance and grip. These cycles are constructed in a way that it appeals to the buyer and is affordable, to take his/her passion for the sport to the next level.
